For lovers of Closet Visit, The Selby, and inspiration via visual osmosis generally, you're in for a treat with In the Make, a collaboration between a photographer and a writer who are curious about and enchanted by artists and their process of creation.

"In the Make is a collaboration between photographer Klea McKenna and writer Nikki Grattan. Through studio visits with artists and designers, we hope to explore each artist’s space, process, influences, and the behind-the-scenes elements that are often unseen in the finished work. We look to highlight the ways in which each artist’s personal aesthetic pervades their environment and reveals their perspective."

I love the cross-section of words in works of art. First fell for Ed Ruscha because of this, I think. Doug Aitken's work is right up my alley - safe to say I would not mind one of these text sculptures hanging on a wall in a big, wide-open loft space.
